Breakfast

Your breakfast is the most important thing for you to lose weight quickly and effectively. Whatever you eat the whole day, the breakfast of yours should have the first priority when it comes to nutrition. Try to have the maximum protein in your breakfast with carbohydrates, fiber and a little fat. This will provide you the kind of breakfast you need to lose weight. Try some sausage and bacon, oatmeal pancakes with fruits, low fat cottage cheese or Muesli. These are my favorites.

Citrus fruits

Foods having rich amount of vitamin C are a good source of boosting up metabolic rate and losing weight at a good pace. Fruits like apples, lemons, guava, grapefruit, papaya, oranges etc helps a lot in losing weight and are a must in your diet if you want to lose weight fast.

Calcium and dairy products

Milk, cheese and yogurt help very much in increasing metabolism and burning fats from your body. A dairy-rich diet plan with some restrictions on it can nearly double the rate of fat loss and hence your weight loss success.

Nuts

Nuts can be another very important source of weight loss. Having nuts included in your diet will not only help you losing fat, but will also help your appetite to get controlled. I’ve read many success stories and seen many diets based on a heavy intake of nuts.

Chilies

Foods that contain chilies or Cayenne pepper are also considered to be a source of weight loss. If you’re a kind of person who likes spicy food, then this is the time for you to start your weight loss program by adding some more chilies to your food.

Garlic

This vegetable acts miraculously well in reducing your cholesterol and trimming off inches from your body by increasing your metabolic rate. This vegetable is even special for people having heart diseases or high blood pressure. And for your diet, it is something like a fat burning furnace.

Cabbage

Whether you have it raw or cooked, this magic vegetable has an ability to inhibit the conversion of sugar and other carbohydrates into fat, making it good for weight loss and fat burning.

Green tea

Studies prove that having green tea makes your metabolic rate really boosted up. So drinking several cups a day will surely make your weight loss effective and fast. For even better results, mix up a little amount of honey and boil your green tea’s water with an inch piece of ginger in it. It’s my approved tip for weight loss and it really helps.

Final advice

Just bear the fact in mind that to lose weight you’ll have to burn more calories than you consume on a daily basis. It will be done by having some good foods in your diet, cutting off the non nutritious foods out and doing some physical activity. Apart from dieting, exercise is the only key to lose weight quickly like celebrities.
